The Gainesville Suzuki Players (G.S.P.) was founded officially in 1969 by Sonnhild F. Kitts, who originally started teaching in 1966. Her program is the fifth oldest Suzuki program in the Country and is now being directed by two of her 5 children, Jennifer Kitts-Guzman and Stewart Kitts.
Gainesville Suzuki Players is a Suzuki group, as well as a String Orchestra. We meet every Monday at Celebration United Methodist Church and we are always open to any music student in Alachua County and surrounding areas.
The classes are: 5:00-6:30 PM Suzuki Violin Group and 6:30-7:30 PM String Orchestra (which is open to violin, viola, cello and Bass students)
